No start after timing belt change

valve-timing
timing-belt

hey folks I’m a at home diy mechanic and teach myself as i go. I recently replaced my timing belt on my 2010 Chryser 300 3.5 L. The reason I changed it because it broke while driving on the highway, and after replacing it the car still won’t start. It has a brand new starter and alternator. Does anyone know what the problem could be and how I could fix it? Thank in advance!

you more then likely have bent valves and will need to pull the cylinder heads.

here is a link to my walkthrough of doing the timing on the 3.5 incase you think you possibly did it wrong. but more then likely if it broke well driving your valves are bent

Sounds like its damaged valve train. Again, this is an interference engine.

Does the engine crank over when you start it?

I'm pretty sure that generation of 3.5 is an interference engine....if the timing belt breaks it will bend valves.
