In this video I will show you a trick how to fix and repair P2076 on the intake manifold runners on a chevrolet 1.8 liter engine rather then replacing the intake manifold
The intake manifold runner linkage is very common to pop off on these engines as the parts are plastic and once the wear down and bit they will pop apart leaving you with a check engine light and inoperable intake manifold runners.
The intake manifold runners change the air flow inside of the intake manifold allowing the vehicle to have a broader power range. typically they are used to improve the lower rpm performance of engines without affecting top end power. when they stop working most people will notice reduced power from a stop.
