Front hub assembly on 2008 ford ranger

To replace the hub assembly on a 2008 ford ranger you will need a jack, a 3/4inch socket for taking the wheels off, A inch and 1/8 socket for the axle Nut, a ratchet, a 15 millimeter socket and a hammer.

First break the axle nut loose, then jack up your vehicle, take the tires off and take the brake calipers and rotors off once the brakes are off finish taking the axle nut off

Use the hammer to break the axle shaft from the hub. Then unplug the speed sensor from the hub. Undo the 3: 15 millimeter bolts on the back of the hub,Use the hammer to beat the back of the hub until it falls out of the assembly housing. Line the holes on the assembly and the new hub up and push the new hub into the assembly then put the bolts on the back of the hub back in plug the speed sensor in tighten the axle hub as much as possible put the brakes and tires back on lower to the ground and finish tightening the axle nut.
