Headlight bulb replacement - Jetta

Introduction

In this How-To I’ll show you how to simply replace your headlight bulb so you can see again while your driving in the dark for $12 dollars

Estimated Time: 2 minutes 

Parts Required

• Lightbulb (2006 uses an H7 not sure about other years)

Instructions:

Step 1 (Remove old headlight bulb)

Under the hood on either the left or right headlight, located the headlight door and unscrew it with your hand

Like so,

With the door off now free the bulb,

Rotate Counter-Clockwise

Now, free the bulb from the assembly by pulling the bulb away like so

Step 2 (Install new bulb)

Avoid touching the bulb!

Push the new bulb into the assembly. The bulb only goes in one-way

Now following this How-To in reverse order, you’ll be able to put everything back together.

Turn the key to ‘on’ and make sure your new light works
