How to Replace Cabin Air Filter 05-17 Volkswagen Jetta
Introduction
In this How-To I’ll show you how to simply replace your cabin air filter and start breathing fresh filtered air again

Tools Required
- Flat blade screwdriver
Parts Required
- Cabin Air filter
Instructions:
Step 1 (Remove old filter)
On the passenger side floor locate the two plastic screws holding the cover. Remove them with your flatblade screw driver
Next, pull the cover down and remove it like so
Then, slide the cabin filter enclosure cover to the right like so
Finally we’re ready to remove the old filter, pull the filter down to remove (I used gloves because mine was filthy)
Step 2 (Install new filter)
Old vs New
Position the new filter like so and gently place it into the cabin filter enclosure (it can be kind of a pain to get in there but you’ll make it work)
Follow this How-To in reverse order to assembly everything back together.
