Reset Airbag Light
I recently bought this car and one thing I noticed right away is that the airbag light flashes. To see if it’s an issue that is still going on, I wanted to reset it. Here’s how I did that.
Tools Required: None
Parts Required: None
Estimated Time: 5 mins.
Step 1:
Turn your ignition on, the airbag light will be on and not flashing for a few seconds, observe that it disappears for a second then begins to flash. Turn off your ignition.
Step 2:
Turn you ignition on, then as soon as the airbag light disappears turn your ignition off. Repeat this three more times for a total of four times. The process is described in the following video.
Step 3:
Start you car, and hopefully the light will be off. Otherwise you’ll need to investigate what’s going on as a code is still being thrown.
As shown in the video this will also work for 350 Zs around the same age.
