2007 Honda Civic Cabin Filter Replacement
In this How-to I'll show you how to change the cabin air filter on a 2007 Honda Civic. This process should be the same on 2006-2010 models.
TOOLS REQUIRED:
Vacuum (optional)
ESTIMATED REPAIR TIME:
10 minutes
STEP 1: Open the glovebox and lower it to access the cabin filter.Push inwards on the sides of the box and pull the glovebox towards you. There is a peg on each side of the box that hold it in place.
STEP 2: Once the glovebox has swung down out of the way to allow access to the cabil filter, locate the 2 tabs on the black door. Pinch these to release the cabin filter tray.
STEP 3: Remove the filter from the tray. This vehicle has been sitting for a while, a mouse has taken up residence inside. Vacuum out any debris that may be inside or dropped lower into the cavity for the blower motor.
STEP 4: Install the filter onto the tray, pay attention to the direction of airflow arrow on the new filter if it has one. Installation is reverse of removal.
Job done!
